Due to the COVID-19 pandemic – we have transitioned our 2021 Clinical Decision Making in Emergency Medicine conference into a hybrid in-person and online, interactive symposium. As with the live conference, this hybrid symposium is focused on providing participants with the most recent, evidence-based information on leading topics in emergency medicine. The LLSA review is designed to ensure passage of the LLSA by using an audience-response system and the actual questions from the examination. Presented by the nation’s experts, the format for the sessions is case-based, with questions that highlight the main teaching points of the session, followed by a discussion of the main diagnostic and management issues related to the case, and ending with a focused discussion of the case’s outcome. Presentations will be followed by live Q&A with the participants.
All Sessions will be available live for in person and online participation according to the agenda. If you are unable to view as they occur the on-demand sessions will be available for 90 days after the event.
Virtual only option -- when registering, just choose the remote attendance option. Remote connection information will be provided prior to the meeting. Recordings and CME will be made available for 90 days.
On-site / in-person option -- when registering, just choose the in-person attendance option. A limited number of on-site seats will be made available on a first come - first serve basis. Please note - the on-site/virtual meeting option is subject to change at any time. If you plan to attend in person -- please register here first then to ensure on-site availability -- then make your travel arrangements. Also, make sure any travel arrangements are refundable because conditions could warrant further limitations or cancellation of the on-site option. Masking requirements will follow local regulations and hotel guidelines and every seat will be properly distanced. On-site registrations can participate on-site or via virtual. Faculty will be onsite. You may be asked to participate from your hotel room at anytime. Attendees will be subject to health monitoring such as temperature checks each day.
