The faculty for this activity is Andrew W. Urban, MD, Professor of Medicine, Division of Infectious Diseases at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. Dr. Urban presents useful numbers, mechanisms of viral infection and host response, and a review of the rapidly changing landscape of clinical trials that are the basis for FDA approved and emergency use authorized therapies.
